To date, Philadelphia Sign has created and installed over 21,663 signs, over 545 sites, and in more than 43 different states for Hertz.
When several airports began consolidating rental car sites, Hertz was asked to vacate existing garage facilities and move their rental outlets to the new sites. In the fall of 2016, the Hertz Corporation unveiled its new “Ultimate Choice” program, entrusting Philadelphia Sign with the roll out of their new signature signage. The challenge was to ensure maximum visibility for each sign and to provide the entire sign package for installation within the airports’ tight 8-10 week timeframes.
The aggressive schedule called for converting one airport location, per week. Philadelphia Sign played a crucial role in this conversion program, providing upfront logistical support to Hertz. PSCO produced and installed the new signage – according to schedule.
Philadelphia Sign works hard at creating a strong customer relationship.
Site surveys were critical as each floor in a parking garage has different visibility and installation issues. However, space constraints for electric and plumbing meant sign placement had to wait until last to be determined. The PSCO team moved quickly to coordinate all the details, adjusting to meet changing requirements.
Working closely with Hertz and their contractors, PSCO perfected a system to ensure the conversion program was seamless and would not interrupt travelers or operations. The result is a great looking sign package that makes the journey easier.
